Oh wow, this came out much nicer than I thought! Not as wide as I thought, nevertheless perfect width and length. Ok, it might be a bit tight in the lower sleeves (which will block out, I hope) and a little wide below the armpits), but nevertheless I like it a lot! Decided to use the pattern again for a short sleeved cardi from DK weight which is sitting in my stash forever…
Oct. 3d Finished second sleeve, woven in ends on morning of 4th, tried it on- love it!
Sep 30th Finished 1st sleeve - picked up 70 stitches, decrease 9x every 5th row, 6x every 4th row, 12 plain rows, one decrease row to 36 stitches, ribbing for 14 rows.
Sep 29th Finished front band, used nearly 2 balls of yarn
Sep. 28thRe-started knitting after nearly 6 month pause -just too warm for Alpaca knitting inbetween. Tried it on, looks promising -not too wide, not to small, length ok as well.
Wanted to make this for ages, and the Drops Alpakafest finally gave me a reason to buy sufficient amounts of this wonderful yarn!
Feb. 14th:
Reached to button ribbing -and found out that it is NOT a good idea to measure on your lap - it is only 51 cm, not 54 cm - so I will have to do ribbing for 8 cm instead of 5 cm to reach sufficient length sighs

ETA: If I made this again, I would probably add a button or something similair for a fixed closing - the shawl pin looks nice on the photo, but tends to fall out all the time. And the yarn in this colour has a tendency to pill - interestingly enough, the ice blue Nepal I used for my Brombeerbolero does not pill at all…
