Plan to use these in stripes of some kind to enhance the unusual construction. Will start with the pink as I think this suits me best. Will blend in the white and red then and will only add in the darker colours later.
Currently, I do not plan to do this in reverse stockinette, but just do app. 3-5 stitches on each shoulder in purl to make the little mock cable stand out.
Did start the body with reverse stockinette though, but plan to stop that after the 3d or so twist of the cable stitches.

Started blending in the other colours. I am not really content with how my shoulder seams look, but I will keep it for now. If I knit it again, I would probably skip the “braid” and just do plain kfb increases.
Still like how I blended in my colours

Knit the body until I ran out of yarn, that is after 1 ball each of pink, red and blue and 2 balls of white. Ordered 2 more balls of the blue and hope this will be enough. I am currently at app. 50 cm from cast-on.

Took in-wear photos when at home again. Quite like it! However, it is waaaay oversized and very bat-wing-y, but nevertheless, I like the look of it and also where the colours fell.
I also quite like the “drapey” boatneck part, though that is not ideal and probably not as it is thought by the designer.
I found it hard to measure the shoulder length correctly which is why I ended up with more stitches than I was supposed to have for the biggest size. I kept decreasing every 3d row up to app. 5 cm from the end.
I would say it was interesting to knit, but I will probably not knit it again (so soon)as I am not totally sure how much wear this will get.
I have the impression that all other colours except the dark blue do not shed as much, so I hope pilling can be kept minimal - we will see.
