Notes

Feb. 7
Did a gauge swatch

Feb. 9
Casted on with 2.75 mm needles, only casted on 120 stitches and then increased to 128 stitches after the ribbing.

Did 15 rounds of ribbing, knitting the first 4 in rows to make sure I do not twist my cast on.

Did short rows and started pattern. Will do lace pattern only on the front part.

Picked this up again after finishing my Fiesta Fibonacci.
Had a bit of elbow issues with the Caponcho thingie which is knit on 5 mm needles, so I switched to the 3.5 mm here.

Started 3d pattern repeat in the yoke today.

February 17, 2025

Started 5th (and last) pattern repeat in the yoke before separation

February 23, 2025

Seperated the sleeves from the body - I am not sure if I should go for longer or shorter version…

March 1, 2025

Finished 1st ball app. 1 pattern repeat after sleeve separation

March 28, 2025

Finished body, picked up 103 stitches for sleeves, will knit down straigt for 38 cm

April 13, 2025

Although all balls were of the same coloring number, there is a significant difference with the color of the second ball I used for the body.

I hope it will not show too much when worn, but I am kind of frustrated.

Not really fun with the sleeves, those are knit straight down up to before the cuffs and it takes FOREVER…

Guess my knitting mojo is on holiday at the moment…

I am even thinking about frogging the whole thing as I will probably not wear it like this? I don’t know… sighs

Maybe I should put this into hibernation, and then pick it up later and then decide if I will knit on or frogg it and use tweed sockyarn as originally planned.

April 13, 2025

Knitted to 37 cm, then did 1 row of k2, k2tg, one plain round, then knit 3, k2tg, started 2 by 2 ribbing after that.

April 14, 2025

Finished 1st sleeve after 25 rounds of 2 by 2 ribbing
