Saw Dag’s podcast » and decided this would be the ideal project for my sockyarn leftovers!
Used bigger needles than recommended - I originally planned to knit this with 6 mm DPNs, but those turned out to be too short, so I switched to the 7 mm circulars I had lying around.
1 square takes app. 25 g of yarn
and is about 24 cm in side length.
So I will use app. 25 - 30 squares for a decent sized blanket, i.e. 625-750 g of yarn.
I do not have too many leftovers at the moment, so it might take me some time to “produce” enough - we will see…

While knitting on my 14th patch, I was watching Dag’s recent podcast episode » in which she does a prize draw again - and guess what - I WON!!!!!
I will get a set of minis from Dag’s handpainted yarns, but those are way too precious to use them in the blanket….
Finished 16 patches now and the blanket has quite a decent size now…
