Enjoyed the last striped sockyarn sweaters I made so much that I had to cast on another one.

Gnaaaa - twisted the cast on! So I frogged about 4 cm and started all over again, using the non-twist method described here »

Took progress photos - the contrast yarn is grey, not blue as it shows on my monitor.
April 8, 2019
Reached 22 stripes. Calculated that I will have to separate front and back after 29 stripes, hope to reach that before Easter (which is around Apr. 20 this year, so very late)
April 10, 2019
Started the 25th contrast stripe wth the lavendar coloured yarn and switched back to the silk yarn in the third natural coloured row after contrast stripe no 26.
May 12, 2019
As I ran out of the navy blue yarn for my Rusty Tuku, I picked this one up again and finished the back. Started to knit on the front now.
May 17, 2019
Knitted the 13th purple stripe of the front - will be 15 in total, so I am confident that I might finish the body this weekend.
May 17, 2019
Finished the body, yeah!
Have only 18 g of the silk yarn left which I devided into two balls of 9 grams for the sleeves.
There is 37 g of the bamboo yarn in the lighter colour left which I will also use for the sleeves, but will have to weigh in-between.
I assume I will send that into summer break - do not feel like sleeve island at the moment!
September 8, 2019
Took this out of summer break today, plan to make this my Early Morning knitting for the next week or two and so I hope I will be able to finish this still in September.
I did not start with the contrast stripe when picking up at the armhole, but picked up with the silk yarn, then knitted 3 rows with it, then only doing the first contrast stripe.
Picked up 86 stitches (4 new cast ons at the underarm) and did the first two contrast stripes without decreases, will then decrease 2 stitches in every 2nd row of the neutral coloured yarn.
Will do the decreases only after even numbered contrast stripes, i.e. 2nd, 4th… and so on.
September 9, 2019
Silk yarn brought me up to the 10th white part, much longer than I would have thought. So I will probably be able to finish the whole sleeve in stripes and do not have to add a solid coloured purple section.
September 20, 2019
Started a solid coloured purple section after the 22nd ridge -not out of necessity, but for designing reasons.
Will measure the first sleeve and will probably start the second one later this weekend.

Okay, after this sat on my pile for 3 month, I decided to frog it- I do not like it at all and will probably not wear it, so why invest any more time?
Frogging took me about 4 hours and was a pain in the… as the yarn has quite a halo and a lot of fluff to get rid off!
