Hm - seems it grew quite a bit in washing- but should be ok, it is more on the roomy side - which explains why I had to use a bit of the grey yarn for the sleeves.

Nov. 23d
Finished second sleeve - just have to weave in ends, sew on buttons and block…

Nov. 20th
Finished first sleeve - had to add a tiny bit of grey as I will probably not have enough yarn otherwise… Picked up 80 stitches for sleeve, did 15 rows plain, then decreased 2 stitches each every 8th row, down to 60 stitches.

Cast on again, used the Opal van Gogh for the yoke as planned. Fabric is a little tighter than with the forst one, probably as it is not containing cotton. Like it so far.

There is a Christmas Sweater KAL going on in the Deutscher Stricktreff Group, and I will participate with my second Vitamin D (yeah, we have quite a wiiide definition of what a Christmas Sweater can be…)

When knitting the first (which I like a lot), I loved the yoke construction and had the idea to knit the top part up to the Separation of sleeves with a self-patterning sockyarn I have in stash, combined with blue sockyarn I also have in stash and do not want to use for socks.

I am also thinking about leaving out the short rows and just knit an “ordinary” Cardigan from the sleeves down- but we will see.

First, I have to complete my Karisma-Senfjanker, I hope to be able to start this by middle of October.

Oh, and to prove that the Sweater was completed in time, I will have to post a photo in front of the Christmas tree/ decoration…
