In my quest to use up leftovers, and knit hats for colleagues I am starting a helix knit hat in a men’s size.
Cast-on 154 stitches, 12 rows k3p2 brim.

Knit 14cm for the body of the hat.
Decreased to 140 stitches for a gathered effect. Did 4 central double decreases in a row, EOR 10 times, then every row until 4 stitches remaining.
For my husband this is a slightly slouchy hat. With the brim turned up it’s a close fitting beanie.
