I knit this hat with mystery chenille, and as I didn’t do a gauge swatch, it came out a big bit. The brim fits my head, but the beret itself is rather floppy…a pancake on my head, really. Oh well, I hope it will fit somebody, and that somebody will like it. Plan to knit it again in a nice wool in my size… This is the blue version (older pictures)

I knit it again in 2014! And it fits way better then the first time. I used a heavy fingering handspun and a contrast sockyarn, over a 3.75mm needle. Did the smallest size, and one pattern repeat less as in the pattern. This is the turquoise and black version.
