Notes

Perhaps I got too much into the Olympic Spirit, but shortly before the Ravellenic Games I decided to make and install my first yarn bomb!

You see, my knitting group meets at a well worn coffee shop. Mostly its junk store vibe has a certain charm, but after years of hosting performances, the velour on their stage stools have completely worn away. And those bald stools look pretty sad.

So I decided to make some crocheted stool covers using the Little Urchin and Granny Mandala patterns and then surprise the shop and my knitting group with their sudden appearance. :)

Using some ANCIENT stash yarn my MIL Gave me and some left over Encore that I felt would match would stool, I finished up the stool covers in plenty of time to make the finish line! The thing is… I had to take a picture of the stools, so I gathered up my most stealthy courage and snuck in the Spot and not only did both covers fit, my choice of Encore really helped the covers blend into the stools!
