Good stash buster. Using the garnet as the main block colour. I may need to buy a skein or two (or forage for leftovers) to make the striped portions more colourful.

In the end I used 2 and a teeny bit skeins of garnet (I needed the extra for the last foot of the border).

I also used 3 skeins of Galway for the edges. I could have bought 3 colours and continued the stripes, but I’m happy with the outer border in one colour.

For the edge I did a row of single crochet, then a second row, but I only went into the back of the loop. It almost looks like icord!
