My dear mother is moving to a cold, snowy, part of Canada and she will desperately need these socks to keep her warm at night.

There was an irritating knot in the yarn where the manufacturer joined a new length of yarn. I kept knitting, thinking it would be small enough not to notice, but alas, it’s all I can look at. Next time I will cut it out and rejoin the yarn. I hate knots like this….
