Being that I used super bulky yarn I increased the hook to “K” and for R6-11 I just stopped at the 9th row and finished off.

Size before felting in top load washer: 3.5” tall x 6.5” wide. Size after felted: 2.75” tall x 5.5” wide.

Note: after coming out of the washer (final spin after 3 mini wash cycles) I flipped the bowl inside out before putting in the dyer and that gave it a very nice shape. I only put it in the dryer for about 15 mins then let air dry.
