Yarn used for this hat is similar to Karabella Zodiac 100% Mercerized Cotton. Being this is a thin yarn I used an G hook and followed the instructions (adding extra stitches to brim to make more frilly) and it worked out well for a 1yr old hat size I made for a friend’s daughter :-)
