Lucy asked me for a “sheep sweater”. She found this yarn and picked it out, and every time I sat down to knit she brought it to me and asked me to make her sweater. So I did. I used the Tiered Toddler Jacket version but I didn’t do the increase for the ruffle. Instead I just knit straight until it was long enough and did four rows of seed stitch. She says she loves it, and picked out the buttons by herself as well.

The yarn is probably not one I would have picked myself, as it is acrylic which I don’t use much. But it’s soft and surprisingly easy to work with considering it’s plied rather loosely and there is a string of tiny pompoms carried along with it.
