I made this for my granddaughter’s fifth birthday. It was a fast and easy knit. The actual knitting went faster than my “posted time” would indicate because I spent a day in the ER being diagnosed with kidney stones and was on pain meds the last four days trying to finish it.

I modified the pattern by making the bobbles in a different color: leftover Lion Brand Baby Homespun. The Knit Picks Comfy Bulky is a joy to work with. Highly recommend the pattern to most anyone. If you are a newbie knitter you might not have the confidence to follow the directions but the actual knitting is not difficult at all if you are confident in your ability to track a pattern that is a little different from the norm.

Upsidedown and pulled low over a face it is a diguise for ‘bad guys’. When setting on top of a head (still upsidedown) it is a helmet for knights.
