I did 6 repeats of the keepsake shawl and sewed it on around the edge of 5 of the 8 bumps (for lack of a better word? :D ) of the doily.

I couldn’t block it flat. But that’s the great thing about the interlocking blocks, they don’t have to be flat! I put little clips on the edge that couldn’t be pinned to weigh it down, which worked very nicely.
