This was supposed to be a blanket for Andrew’s apartment … back in 2010. Whoops! It would have made a really great, squishy blanket. But somewhere in there I lost steam. And it sat. And it sat. And it sat.

This weekend I pulled out the rest of the yarn to weave him a scarf, and I realized this blanket was almost the perfect size for a scarf. So I ripped out the cream segment I had started, knit it to match the bottom border, bound off, wove in about two dozen ends, and viola! It’s now a cozy scarf.

I’m not sure he really loves it. But it is squishy and warm, so I wouldn’t be surprised if I see him wearing it when it gets icy cold this winter. Either way, it’s not longer a UFO. It’s done.
