a stash-buster I was making similar hats myself when Woolmountain liked a photo and said that we have a similar style for hats and so I got her pattern and could see that we did most things the same, so it is easier for me to refer you to her pattern if you want a good guideline, I do the spirals different and the earflaps further back than central as they are in the pattern and generally tweak it as I did before I saw her pattern but it is a great pattern and easy to follow so I urge you to buy it :-)
