I adapted the Crunching Leaves Mod Scarf stitch pattern to be an angled super scarf like the Autumn Chill is. Pattern adaptation below; it uses the Crunching Leaves abbreviations, so for the 2 component rows of the star stitch, be sure to refer to the Crunching Leaves pattern for explanation.
Fun facts about this scarf: The two cakes of Go Go Cocoa were non-matching dye lots, which made matching coloration exceptionally difficult; as such, there are 11 separate colors and 20 color changes with nearly 50 tails to weave in.
PATTERN:
FHDC 250
Row 1: Ch 2, FPDCX across
Row 2: Ch 1, 2 SC, SC across until two stitches left, SC2Tog
Row 3: Ch 2, HDC2Tog, HDC across, 2 HDC in last stitch
Row 4: Ch 2, star stitch across, HDC in last stitch
Row 5: Ch 1, SC2Tog in first stitch and eye of first star, 1SC in same star stitch’s eye, 2SC in the eye of each star stitch in the previous row, 2SC in last stitch
Row 6: Ch 2, 2 HDC, HDC across until two stitches left, HDC2Tog
Rows 7-30: Repeat Rows 1-6 in full sets as many times as you like to get the width you want
Row 31: Ch 2, DCX across
Row 32: Ch 2, HDC across
Tie off and weave in ends.
OPTIONAL: Add an additional row of HDC as a Row 7 in the repeated pattern. This will cause the increases and decreases at the beginnings and ends of rows to alternate from the pattern sometimes; keep track of what you should be doing by watching the biased edge grow.
