5/16/13 Finished! I went with short sleeves because 1) I was ready to get this thing off the needles and 2) I didn’t want to have to run to the store to get more yarn. I’m pretty happy with it, however I wish I had gone down a needle size or two on the sleeve ribbing.
5/14/13 Finally had a chance to pick this back up! BO bottom rib and started on first sleeve. Hopefully I can have it finished by the end of this week. Actually tried on the sweater to see how the sleeves were going (haven’t since I was working on bottom rib) and my BO is too tight. So I’m going to have to rip it later and do Jeny’s Surprisingly Stretchy Bind-Off.
~Wesley’s been put on hold indefinitely. I’ve got a few other big projects that are taking up a lot of my time. I also don’t have anymore of the sleeve color and I’m on a yarn-buying-freeze for a while, as well. I’m hoping that I can pick it up again around the end of summer.~
1/29/13 Had to put on hold for Christmas knitting and then to finish my Tom Baker scarf (NYResolution to only work on one major project at a time). Finally back to it!
-Did 5 sets of dec. every 4 rows, followed by 2 sets of dec. every 3. Starting on inc.
11/19/13 WIL WHEATON SAW MY SWEATER
11/18/12 Added in the teal stripe (6 rows). Wasn’t sure how I felt about the color at first, but it’s grown on me. I also really like how the neck turned out with the smaller needles. Tried it on finally and I think the extra increase worked out well (see: first self photo).
11/17/12 Switched to yellow after the 7th inc row (being on the first k row after the inc). Don’t feel like trying it on right now so I’m going to go ahead and do one more increase just to be safe. 6 rows (1 inc) of yellow.
11/16/12 After the ribbing, I did about 5 increases. On the first k row after the inc I switched to red. 6 rows (2 inc) of red.
11/14/12 For the life of me I could not find my 8s, so I went ahead and just CO with my 7s. We’ll see how it works out.
Starting another one because it’s super simple and super cute! This one will be based on a sweater worn by Welsey Crusher on Star Trek: The Next Generation.
