1/2/14
I did it! A WHOLE YEAR of a project holy cow. I am incredibly happy with it. There are definitely things I could have done differently but this was a great learning experience for me and it was FUN. I highly recommend doing one. It’s nice to have something with so much color. I decided not to add a border because I happen to like the rough edges and we most likely wont be using it for a bed spread, but it is the perfect size to cuddle under with a movie going. I don’t know exactly how much yarn i used in this, but my LYS is probably laughing all the way to the bank. Love love love. I’m out of things to say about it other than ‘I really love it!’
Year end average: High 76/Low 54
7/30/13
9.75 rows out of 21. I should have at least 12 rows by now, though. So I’m obviously a little behind. Checked the width on my bed and there is about a square and a half drape on the sides and each square is ~3.5”. The length is looking like it will turn out perfect for the bed!

Got a bit behind in May. Finally caught up to the 2nd of June (top-most picture). Having to put on hold until I can get to Durant to pick up more orange, though.
4/2/13
I’ve decided that once I get started on April’s squares I’m going to adjust my temp scale. from 10s-9s instead of 1s-10s.
3/11/13
Finally got to add in a new color! We had one day over 80 that allowed me to finally break into my orange. Almost caught up to the current day, just a few more squares to go.

Seaming my first row together (1/1-1/18). It’s not pretty, but it will do.
2/26/13
Finished January! I still haven’t started seaming yet. Time to start on February’s squares!
2/25/13
-I can’t decide how I want to place my squares. All facing the same way or with the min temps going toward each other. Any input would be appreciated!
-Looking at seaming options. I think I might just SC the blocks together in a white. I still haven’t picked out my last three colors. I was going to wait until the weather warmed up before I bothered with them, because I really don’t need three extra hanks tempting me from my stash. However, I may take a trip to HNT this weekend to look at options.

I decided that I have enough scarves so I will make this into a blanket. Since 365 won’t give me a good shape I am going to add a square for each monthly average as well as a yearly average square.
Each square will be about 3” so that my blanket before a border (if I decide to do one, which I most likely will) will be about 54”x63”. That’s smaller than I’d like it, actually, so I will do a border.
The high for the day will be MC, and the low will be CC.
Note to self: CO 29, mitered, 13 rows MC and finish rest of square with CC.
