My first project with cotton yarn.

My gauge is nothing like in the pattern. But I don’t want anything like it but a lot smaller one. I think. Whose 3 months old baby got a chest of 50cm? Even if this is a wrap? Did I get it all wrong?

30th of May:
Decreases. 3rd and 4th decreases in the skirt made every 8th row.

Substituted the skp’s with ssk’s.

4th of Jun:
Only ribbons and photos missing. Yay, I made it in the time for the name giving party. The bust circumference might be a bit too much, but otherwise I’m very pleased.

7th of Jun:
I kind of like the ugly doodleyish tree shapes I managed to crochet on the hem. I crocheted them from the backside. So on the reverse side you’d see the crochetedd stitches.

The colour of the dress is more red than in the photos.
