I saw this free pattern from Lion Brand while searching on Ravelry for gift ideas. It was an easy pattern to work with. I ended up revising the pattern to make it shorter at the width and longer at the length so, I could wear it more like a scarf rather than a shawlette.

As usual, I’m not using the same yarn as the pattern had called for. Besides, the specified yarn has been discontinued. This lace pattern would look well with cotton yarn so, that’s what I chose to work with.

The beauty of this pattern is that it can be adaptable with most yarns and hook sizes. You can make its size as large or small as you wish by repeating the 2 rows of the pattern as many time as you desire.
