The stitch pattern for the middle panel can be found here.

HOOORAY - this sweater won a 150g ColourMart voucher in the lucky draw of the design category :)))

I really, really like the yarn :))) It may not be that easy to knit with due to the nobby structure of it but I like the fabric it produces a lot.

It does not really feel silky more dry and cottony but its rustic texture is really beautiful. I didn’t like much the many bits of ‘stuff’ in the yarn and have probably picked out only half of it…

I wanted to combine some cables and lacey bit and am really happy how it turned out :)))

It’s knit bottom up in the round then divided for the sleeves. the neckline was done with short rows. The shoulders were closed by knitting a 7sts wide stripe between front and back. Those sts and 24 each (front/back) plus the 12 from under the arm made the sleeve.

The stripe had a prov CO towards the neckline. These sts plus the ones from the short rows neckline in the round: knit 3 rds, purl 1, knit 1, decrease BO. Last 2 rows with 3.75mm needle.

Sleeves knitted in the round with DPNS, dec 2sts every 8 rds, same finish as the neckline.

I was really in a hurry with that as I wanted to take it to Germany to my family meeting. So not many photos… but I made it :)))
