I’ve just moved into a new office at work and everyone else here likes to play cards at lunch time. So I’ve decided to start these little squares to while away my lunch hour in a productive manner.

I made 30 squares of 3 rounds each, and I have what looks like yarn burn on my finger! I’ve used lots of cheap and cheerful acrylics in the past, but never have they cut into my finger like this. I don’t think I’ll be buying this WIZZ aran yarn again :( The luxuary arran on the other hand is really nice to work with.

I completed the last of the 121 squares yesterday, and so far today I’ve spent 6.5 hours sewing, with breaks only to make the odd cup of coffee. And I’m still only half done! The squares are all together now, joined vertically, but I have all the horizontals left to do. Question is do I work on this this weekend to get it finished (gotta love that just finished feeling!) or, do I put this one side and get on with my cathedral rose window, which has been throughly neglected this week. After crocheting squares all day in work my eyes wont co-operate to work on anything in the evening as well. Mmmm decisions, decisions……
