This will be my first attempt at something lacey - wish me luck, I think I’m gonna need it!

Ok, 2 days in and this is crocheting up pretty quickly. I did have a panic when I got to page 3 and half way through a pineapple the instruction was ‘complete each pineapple in the manner set’. As a new crocheter I was a bit lost. Although after looking at the section before and going back a few rows it worked out fairly easily, but I could have done without that! Now I’m stuck with where to begin the outter ripple. ‘join at the top of the large pineapple to the right hand side of a pair of large pineapples’… ummm its all pineapples, a diagram really would help here!
Figured it out, but only after a bit of trial and error. It’s the 11 O’clock pineapple that the outer rounds start on.

The crocheting is finished! Just need to waah and block this eveing before adding final pics
