Did brim with 3.0 mm needles, getting 26 st/4”, but gauge felt a bit thin and I switched to 2.75mm needles after the brim. I got 29 st/4” with those, which made it a bit too tight for the original slouchy hat plan so I began the decreases around 7.75” and made it more of a loose beanie.
