I made a very simple tutorial about how to make a hood. For ravelers its way too simple, but I made this for non-crocheters-knitters, and hope anyone will find it usefull.

The pattern is a simple rectangle, made with left over yarns! Use what you have, measure the rectangle (as shown in the video) and crochet/knit. Thats it!

TIP: You also can make cute hoods for kids by cutting up an old sweater and make the rectangle with scratch. Hope you enjoy.
