Overall, this shawl was a little bit of a challenge because of the nupps (I used a crocheted version that really helped!), but the pattern was easily memorizable. The construction is amazing, the details are gorgeous, and I LOVE it!

I had plenty of yarn to finish the shawlette version with one skein of Malabrigo sock. If you were wondering about how much yarn you would need, no worries. You have enough to make 8 rep of the Flower chart, and use 2 threads to BO.

2010-08-19 It’s dry and the drape is wonderful! I LOVE it!!! I love the color, the details… even the nupps! BF don’t like them, but who cares, I’M gonna wear it! :-D

2010-08-02 Planning on starting this shawl on our camping trip. After reading other Malabrigo sock yarn users, I have to knit 8 flower chart repeats. And about the nupps, I haven’t decided yet. Maybe I’ll do them, since it’s sock yarn… UPDATE: setup chart done! and so far I LOVE it!
