I’m in love with this yarn--ran right out and bought more. Reminds me of the prismatic light thrown off by diamonds and faceted glass, the cover of Dark Side of the Moon, the irridescent swirls on pooled oil, or Sonoma vineyards on a rainy autumn day.

I’ve decided these will be Christmas presents for my mother and sister. I read that crocheters/knitters should be cautious giving their creations as gifts because of subjective tastes, that making a basket full of potential gifts and letting them choose from it is a better idea. So I’m going to make a handful of these Lacy Feather and Fan wraps in different colors and let them choose. I know they already love the pattern because I showed it to them. (And thusly is my addiction to this pattern justified/rationalized/enabled. I just find it soothing somehow.)

I might keep this one for myself, though. Love this colorway.
