Not sure how the repetitive/self-patterning yarn will work with this width of a project, since it’s meant for socks, but it will be fun to find out.

I’ve finished the Top (Bottom?) Border and am 3 rows into my first large breaker. Two of the breakers toward the middle had one too many stitches this time around. Did K3tog instead of K2tog as a fix, which seemed to work. We’ll see.

Can’t get a real feel for the color pooling pattern yet.

Finished Row 4 of the Large Breakers section, a purl row. I’m finding I zone out sometimes and forget the p2tog, which probably accounts for some of the extra stitches yesterday. I made sure to count every segment today.

Up to Row 10 of 1st Breakers repeat. Still resembles a massive scrunchie, but if I flatten it out with my hands (this wants to be a tube so badly), I can see the design beginning. Hope it stops rolling itself up after a few more rows.

Did another three rows today and finished the first repeat of the breakers section. Now on to Breakers II: Electric Boogaloo.

I added a dental floss lifeline before starting the second breakers repeat, then did the first row. I really hate working the row right after a lifeline. Feels like it takes forever for me to pick around it and not knit it with the new stitches.

I lost this project, along with two others, for a while. Or so I thought. I looked everywhere. Twice. Then months pass, and there the big ziplock bag is, right under my main WIP in my knitting bag. WTH?

Hope to get back to it again soon(ish).
