this project was very experimental, I learned a lot of don’t with this one.

The biggest challenge was dealing with uneven tension across the warp because I was using different kinds of yarns. Some where worsted some not. Some had nylon some not… I will never do this again in a warp.
However, in the end with such a loose sett (8 EPI)the uneven tension is not obvious.
I attempted a wet finish in the drier, the only yarn to really react was the green one.
The shawl is very soft (some of the yarns have cashmere in the fibers) and drappy. I will make more of those wraps but with a uniform brand of yarn in the warp.

details: 8 epi 20 inches in the reed, 3 yards wrap. Random stripes.
