Update: Gathered all the materials required and did my swatches. I’m a little loose on the flat knitting with larger needle, so I will find a slightly smaller needle. The knitting in the round was correct tension. If I’m short on yarn (I shouldn’t be), I’ll rip out my swatches, otherwise I’ll keep them.

Update: One sleeve done and the cuff facing of the other.
St st in the round is easy and meditative - good for watching Netflix. I used DP needles for the cuff facing but 12” circs from ChiaoGoo for the rest of the sleeve.

Update: Second sleeve done like magic, after binge watching a whole series on Netflix.

Update: Split hem sections done, and just about to be joined in the round. The braided cable panels are established.

Update: Just working along on the body in the round. “Travelling Braided Cable Panels B” section is almost done. Just joined my 4th skein of yarn at one of the cables. I didn’t use one of the partial balls from the sleeve yet and I will save that for the neck area.

Update:Ready to begin short row neck shaping. Took a little break to work on a few new designs!

Update: Just completed the short row neck shaping and ready to begin the collar.

Update: Collar and Collar facing completed. Next up: grafting the underarms!

Update: Grafted (Kitchener stitch) together the stitches left on holders at underarms. Next up blocking!

Update: Almost done! Wet blocking on Styrofoam sheets with a few pins. All that’s left is the folding back and hemming the collar, cuffs and bottom!

Update: finally got pictures of me wearing it FINISHED! Did the hemming under and stitching down of the cuffs and facings a few days ago.

This is a really comfortable sweater!
