Notes

The details for the blanket can be found here:- http://www.ravelry.com/projects/Franie-Jay/neat-ripple-pa...
The colours in Liam’s Blanket represent colours found in the Australian landscape.
The yarn used in Liam’s Ripple Blanket is Bendigo Woollen Mills 8ply, 100% wool, ‘LUXURY’ yarn.
Colours:-

  1. Wild Barley 323
  2. Frost 312
  3. Delphinium 327
  4. Leaf 358
  5. Ghost 342
  6. Lake 332

The yarns used for the edging are:
1) Cleckheaton Country Naturals 8ply Col: 1813 Lot: 768800
2) Remnants of BWM LUXURY Ghost 342 and Frost 312
3) Cleckheaton Country Naturals 8ply Col:2314 Lot: 776635
4) Remnant of BWM LUXURY Lake 332

In the second round of the edging I used Ghost (grey) for 3 sides, then ran out of yarn, so used Frost (white) along one edge to finish. It is hardly noticeable in the finished item.

I decided to use up the remnants of BWM LUXURY to add the edging to the blanket but needed a blender colour for the first round: the Country Naturals 1813 blue/grey was perfect for this, and a feature colour for the third round; the Country Naturals 2314 Yellow was perfect.

The instructions on how to do the edging can be found here: http://attic24.typepad.com/weblog/2012/12/interlocking-ri...

This edging took no time at all to complete. :-)
The photos look great viewed on black in ‘fullscreen’.
