Summary: This double-layer hat has endless stockinette, but is the warmest hat I have made to date. My husband asked that I make another for him. (This is his first request for a hand knit.)

Mods: Used a US 1.5 needle (to get gauge) and decreased length by 1”.

This was not the one skein project I hoped for. Ran out of yarn 1” before decreases and had to order a 2nd skein.

(Note to self: Though I obtained the designer’s gauge, this hat is a tiny bit snug for my 22” head when I wear with a folded brim over my ears. Hat fits perfectly when I wear as a slouch with no brim.)
