Notes

Summary: Yarn and pattern purchased as a kit from Craftsy.com in the spring of 2018. Directions are very clear. Had very little yarn left over. I am extremely pleased how this project turned out.

Progress Updates

  • 10/8/18: Because Craftsy supplies only enough yarn to complete project with recommended (and blocked) gauge, I decided to go down a needle size. Started project with twisted cable CO and US 4 needles.
  • 4/29/19: Finished knitting and wove in ends. BO end curled. I tinked back to last red row and garter stitched until I ran out of red yarn (2 rows). I garter stitched 2 rows of black accent, then bound off. BO edge still curls, but not as bad. I hope blocking will solve this. I did not have enough red yarn to replicate cast on end. Less than a gram of each yarn colorway remained.
  • 6/19: Washed & blocked. Blocking eliminated curling at BO end. Cannot wait for cool weather to return so I can wear it.
