This hat’s construction is amazing, but the directions on how to obtain the desired hat length in Part II were lacking. I was thankful for other Ravelers who clarified instructions in their notes. I did not give this project the highest Ravelry happiness rating because I joined a different colorway near completion and it made the crown look awkward. I will definitely make this again!

Progress Notes

• Q=19
• body length=8” (I prefer my body height to be 6” from edge before commencing a 2” crown decrease series. I also wanted a 2” folding brim. Therefore, I wanted my hat height to be 8” before crown shaping.)
• Depleted yarn near end of section IV. Started using another Chroma colorway.
• Took the advice of others and worked 3 needle BO from the inside of the hat.
