Experience with knitting short rows is helpful for this project. I was nervous about understanding the pattern instructions, but realized I was over thinking them. Follow them exactly, one step at a time.

Helpful advice I followed from other Ravelers:
(1) When starting new section, place marker 12 stitches from left so you’ll know where to turn row.
(2) Snug first 2 stitches after every short row turn to eliminate potential gaps.

This was a very enjoyable knit. Not mundane, but not too complicated to work on while enjoying TV or music.
