Yarn arrived from J&S direct today (Monday 3rd), bought by Katie for her littlest daughter Phoebe.
Main colour changed out for purple, 133mix, the other remaining the same.
Cast on last night, knitted ribbing and halfway up colourband, but tho’ I love the fabric I’m getting with this needle size it’s coming up a bit too small. So - pulled back this lunchtime, I’ll use the stitch counts for the 6 size but the lengths for the 4, and cast on again this evening.
Gorgeous yarn, gorgeous pattern.
18.7.15 Sleeves done, knitting away quite happily having joined them all together, then realised that the body is only8.5” long when it should be 10.5”. Bugger. And i’m going to run out of yarn. Oh well, I haven’t got much to pull back.

Started crocheting the steek this morning. Really need to get this finished - shouldn’t take long now. With it being a child’s garment though, I’m not confident about the shaping but I’ve followed the pattern and even checked with Kate when I was concerned. Oh well, i can always knit another if it doesn’t fit.

Picked up ribbing for right-side buttonhole band last night and just finished this lunchtime. Wasn’t sure if had enough purple left for both, so though i’d do the top one first. Really pleased with how it looks.

Only six of the perfect buttons, so there are different ones top and bottom. Sent off to Katie on 8th March.
