Followed instructions for size 18-24 months but with bigger needles, worsted weight yarn and these mods:

-CO 70 with size 7 needles. Do row 2 for 1” instead of 1/2”

-Placed button holes every 5 ridges instead of 4

-increased sleeves to 53 stitches (9 repeats total)

-cast on 4 stitches underarms

• I switched to size 8 needles after the armholes thinking it looked too small but now I think it might be much too big. eek!

-knit to about 4 1/2” before starting color work.

• used size 7 needles for the sleeves. They were much too wide at the cuffs with 53 stitches so I ripped back to about halfway down the sleeve and decreased 2 stitches (knit 1, sl,sl,knit slipped stitches together, knit to last 3 stitches, k2tog, k1) a total of 4 times to have 45 stitches left on my needles. I switched to size 5 needles for the ribbing.

Done! But needs to be blocked. I am so afraid it will bleed :(
