This was a challenging project, but I learned a lot, and really enjoyed it!

I wanted a pattern with a lot of texture that would also showcase the beautiful color changes in this yarn. The color changes ending up being very gradual, but the end result looks pretty cool!

The written pattern was a bit confusing for me in a few parts, but the YouTube tutorials really helped. Pretty sure I did round 14 completely wrong, but.. shrug::skin-tone-2

I used a 19 inch metal floral hoop from Michael’s (around $4) and it was a good fit, although some of the metal is still visible.

This yarn is gorgeous and easy to work with. Wish I had bought more.

The pattern worked up very quickly. I’d like to try it again with a lighter weight yarn and smaller hoop. If I make this again I will definitely use different colors instead of one skein of color changing.
