Incredibly easy and fast project. Maybe took about 8 hours total to knit it, weave in all the ends and sew on the buttons.
Made this for my friend celebrating a milestone birthday this year, per her request.
I spent just under $50 total for the yarn and buttons for this project, so it’s also one of those rare times when a handknit item is about the same as what you’d pay in the store for a commercial equivalent, even including time for labor.
I’m not a fan of acrylic yarn, but this one was nice and soft so I didn’t mind working with it.
