This is a most prodigious and excellent design, a work of genius. The pattern is very well written, with good transitions between charts and straightforward explanations for both the semi and full circle versions.

I used 8/0 beads in lieu of the nupps throughout to save time; perhaps this is a less noticeable effect, but gives some subtle color and lighting effects when viewed up close.

Approximately 36” long, it is a bit shorter than hoped but even more delicate on the smaller size 1 needles when knit with cobweb weight yarn.

Finished with four rows of garter and bound off using a 5 stitch picot edge. This blocking is preliminary and lacks the correct angle for the two front panels as when draped over the shoulders.

Result has a gossamer drape with some backbone thereby lending an effect reminiscent of veil tail fish fins. Lovely!
