Top-down and yo raglan increases. Super-easy.

Ok edit on that:
When I had finished casting off for the front piece, I counted the sts for the back. Horror!!! I had 10 sts less. How could this happen???? Why didn’t I pay attention/calculate better/count sts earlier on?!? So - I’m not perfect after all. Huge surprise. Chock, almost.
So I realized that this was a thing that couldn’t be fixed by any of my usual tricks. So I saved the front piece by simply cutting the yarn and removing the sts from the yoke section. Then I began ripping. Have you ever ripped out three threads at one time - one alpaca, one mohair and one with paillettes? Can’t recommend it. Arghh. But I did it. And started over.

30/1: Back on track. Yoke section finished and nearly at the bottom end of the back piece. Dread the fact that I have to graft the front to the yoke. That’s the kind of logic I’ll never ever learn to master. Like calculating the area of a Toblerone carton.

6/2: Finished. Alas. Grafting wasn’t such a pain after all. Decided to go with half sleeves. It looks pretty, but I guess it’ll be very annoying. Neither sweater, nor vest. But for now, I consider it perfect :)

23/2: It’s my daughters 18th birthday. Strangely this sweater ended up with fully length sleeves and wrapped up as a gift for HER. What happened?!
