This pattern was fun to knit! You cast on many stitches and it is knit in the round. The instructions has you place a marker every 30 stitches. This was very helpful so you can keep track of your stitches until your pattern is established.

I used yarn from my stash. I couldn’t decide which one to use so I made 5 different swatches from the swatch pattern. The swatches take very little time and you can get a pretty good idea as to how the yarn is going to respond with this pattern.

The pattern has you try on the cowl so you can choose a neckline. There are three to select from. I choose the neckline that fits closer to the neck.

I was amazed about how little yarn this took. I have enough yarn left over to make another.
