This was knit with a discontinued tweed yarn from Debbie Bliss. Merino wool and angora. I’ve knit a sweater and another hat with this yarn. Every inch of it has been knit up. Not only is my favorite yarn discontinued but my LYS is out of business. Two bummers!

I didn’t quite have enough yarn to knit the 4th cable. The size still worked out for me.

I chose to place markers between the repeats. For some reason I kept messing up so the markers really helped!

This is a FAST knit. The pattern is well written and easy to follow.

This was knit on Addi 16 inch needles size 5.

I did a VERY light wet block, just to even out the stitches.

My only regret is my pictures don’t do it justice.
