This is a quick project I made as a last-minute Christmas gift (that turned into a New Year’s gift). This is a mashup from several patterns. I really appreciate the knowledge shared by these designers and the inspiration of their lovely patterns and techniques!

• The snowflake on the mugs is from Winter Wonderland Mosaic CAL

• The overall shape of the mug is from 8″ Tapestry Peppermint Latte Afghan Square

• The technique I used for the squares (to prevent long loops on the backsides) is from a YouTube video by Susan Lowman, The Crochet Architect titled Anchored Double Crochet Stitch for Mosaic Crochet

• The slanted stitches that help shape the mug corners and the steam rising from the mugs is from Winter forest
