This reminds me of when I was a kid and would draw pictures. I would put the sun up in one corner and then draw rays out from the sun.

The subtle geometry of this piece is captivating. I cant stop looking at it and marveling at it. I can imagine a mathematician working out the formulas at work that make this shawl so appealing.

I have to say I both loved and hated this project. It is stunning in its construction and the end product. The shawl is also deceptively simple. Nothing overly complicated in terms of stitches. It is oh so tedious to knit in beige with occasional stripes.
