Notes

I loved knitting this so much I decided to cast on again. This time I’m not going to control the yarn and just let the colors fall where they fall.

I saw this yarn in the store and it reminded if of fire and a sunset… so that is how I named this project.

12-10
this has been done for a long time and I have been wearing it unblocked but I just finally got around to blocking it so it’s officially done

it was actually done 8-1

6-11
center done. I’m going to cast the sides on using a proverbial co. probably the crochet one.

7-29
knitting is done. I need to block this. I’m waiting till I can make a video of me blocking it as I use no pins and steam it. I think it might be useful.

After I seamed everything together I went and put the entire edge back on the needles before starting the triangles and edging. I thought this was easier as I could better pay attention to being sure all stitches were picked up in one step rather than one at a time.

I will be creating a detailed blog post about both of these shawls and the way I made them and blocked them.
