FINISHED! I enjoyed knitting this and love the way the colors turned out. I did not work the 3 rows of garter, I finished the pattern and ended on a row of knit. I used my crochet hook to bind off and on my BO row when i reached the spot where the pattern would come to points, with one stitch for binding off I s k2tog psso and than slipped them both to my other needle and knit them together. I felt this finished off the pattern.

On the last pattern repeat before the edging. Had my needles slip out while it was set aside a couple times so had to do some 1st aid. Still loving it and can’t wait to see how the purples look after it’s all done.

About 1/2 way done. This is a easy knit and I am quite enjoying it. I took it off the needles and threaded it onto a string to get a good image of how it’s going. I just couldn’t stand not seeing it as it was all scrunched up on the needles.

just starting this with my left over yarn from my last Gail. I just want to knit something. not sure if this yarn will work but we will see.

I’m knitting this by following the written pattern. I’m left handed so I am finding it easier to just follow the written rather than the chart. My shawl pattern will spiral “backwards” from a right handed knitters shawl.

Be aware that un-numbered rows are all knit BUT they are not at even intervals in the pattern so you gotta pay attention or you will miss rows. it’s not uncommon in this pattern to go 4 rows written then have 2 in a row which are knit, thus not noted. So just pay attention to what row you are on so you don’t skip any.
